LEGO Indiana Jones sets Returning in 2021 – LEGO Theory

I’m going to present evidence to why we might see the return of LEGO Indiana Jones! With a new Indiana Jones movie set to release on July 9, 2021 (could change due to world events), we could see new LEGO Indiana Jones Sets and Minifigures in the near future. Another clue we have is Disney bought Lucasfilm in December 2012, who owns both Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Disney and LEGO have had a strategic partnership over the years with franchises such as Disney’s Pixar’s Toy Story, Cars, Prince of Persia and more!

So with the fact that Disney and LEGO have a relationship and the fact that Disney now owns Lucasfilm which owns Indiana Jones, it’s HIGHLY LIKELY we will see the return of the LEGO Indiana Jones theme in 2021. LEGO has even gone on record to say that the LEGO Indiana Jones theme was one of the most popular LEGO themes and helped boost the LEGO Group’s profits within a troubled economy back in 2008. The LEGO Indiana Jones line only lasted for 2 years between 2008 and 2009 having 18 LEGO Indiana Jones sets and 2 LEGO Indiana Jones video games.
