MOC of the Week – St. Patrick’s Day in the Museum

I was THIS close (gestures) to procrastinating and not writing an article today. But I just couldn’t let this day pass by without featuring a Irish-themed MOC. How could I, after seeing this?

Check it out: “St. Patrick’s Day in the Museum“, by Simon S.

It’s kind of magical, isn’t it?

If you couldn’t already tell, this is a museum and the leprechauns, after following the rainbow, have hit the jackpot. I just love all the little details. I love the display case (yes, that’s a real Lego piece), as well as all the different gold museum pieces. Makes you really appreciate the variety Lego has so kindly given to us, right? 🙂 I love the tied up museum workers and, of course, the rainbow leading to the single pot of gold in the attic…

Simon S. also has a Flickr photostream (which is where I first saw this thing). You can also see more pics of this MOC at MOCpages (click the pic above).

Anyway, happy St. Patty’s Day, make sure to eat your corned beef and cabbage (ALL of it…), and keep building! 😀
