MOC of the Week – May 19, 2012 – Felucia

On May 11 this pic was uploaded to Flickr entitled “WIP”.

“I really need some feedback on this. It’s star wars but I don’t know what to do with it. Also, any suggestions for the planet?”

Someone said Felucia.

And that’s the story of our MOC of the Week: “Felucia” by Tòm.

As most of you probably know, Felucia is a Star Wars planet that is VERY popular with MOC builders. The most important part of building a Felucia scene is getting the plants to look just right. Many try (and many fail…) and some are able to pull it of using odd pieces in unusual ways and whatnot. I personally think Tòm did a great job. Using cones and slopes and domes and plant pieces, the creator got the look of Felucia down very well. The colors are spot on too. And of course I couldn’t finish without mentioning the awesome bridge, as well :))

Check out more making-of pics on Tòm‘s photostream, and please enter YOUR Lego builds in our Flickr group for a chance to be featured right here next week! 😀
