LEGO Minecraft The Forest Micro World Set Review

Welcome to BrickUltra’s review of the LEGO Minecraft The Forest Micro World Set! In this review, I will be taking a look at the LEGO 21102 Minecraft The Forest Micro World Set. This set was released last year, marking the third LEGO Cuusoo design to ever be made. Once this set was released, the set became extremely popular.

The Minecraft The Forest Micro World comes with 480 pieces and retails for $34.99. Is this the best LEGO Minecraft set! Let’s find out!

Box and Contents

The box is similarly shaped to a Minecraft block from the actual game. The set comes with two Micro mobs with the character Steve, and a Creeper. The LEGO Minecraft The Forest Micro World includes 480 pieces and is recommended for ages 10+.

Minifigures

While the LEGO Minecraft Micro World set’s don’t actually come with Minifigures, the new set does come with 2 micro mob LEGO figures. The 2 micro mob LEGO figures included are Steve, and a Creeper! Both figures follow the unique design of the characters from the game itself.

The Build

The set takes roughly 25-45 minutes to complete and is overall a pretty neat build. The set consists of you building the four stages that in the end will connect to each other.

The Completed Model
The complete model is pretty well details considering these are micro worlds. In the video review I’ll show off what I think makes the original LEGO Minecraft set special.

The Verdict

The Forest set is the original LEGO Minecraft set and for that it makes it special already. This set I would recommend for any fan of Minecraft or LEGO. LEGO did a nice job designing the top of the world with the house, the trees, and the extra detail in the river/lava. I personally feel that they could have done a better job in the cave system because it’s a little plain. Overall this would rank number two on my list out of the three LEGO Minecraft sets.

For investors the LEGO Minecraft The Forest Micro World Set is a no brainer for the secondary market, this set is going to be very very valuable as of now but also when they retire this set. Because this is the original LEGO Minecraft set, it’ll raise the price anyway. The only concern you might have is LEGO continues to make more of The Forest set which ultimately will make this set not worth as much because they are more units in existence. So in the end this is a must buy if your a Minecraft fan, if your not a fan or only have a choice of one of the LEGO Minecraft sets I would say you should pass on this set and get The Village.

The Score = 8.5/10
