In this section we help promote LEGO Cuusoo idea’s to help them reach the 10,000 likes needed for their idea to get created! This week we feature the idea called Friends in Minifigures Project created by Dorayaki. Here’s what the creator had to say about the idea:

LEGO Friends in Minifigures Project

It’s going to be the third year after our new Lego theme Friends that comes with “minidolls” launched. At first, it was a controversial topic that claims the line gives in to both gender stereotypes and differentiation between Lego consumbers. To most people’s surprise, Lego Friends made a big success and we’re honored to see more of them.

Still, it’s a big pity that while many evereydaylife, realistic buildings and playsets from Friends could have complement City sets very well, minidolls becomes a border that doesn’t allow Friends consumers to play with City sets because there are no characters to portrait in “both” City and Friend themes.

So it comes to mind: what if all characters based on minidolls have their own avatar as minifigures?

Each character have their signature clothes printed on minifigures, and they also have double-sided face prints, one in the Friend portrait style and the other in traditional Minifigure style.

When consumers have two versions of characters to choose, they can either decide to play as minidolls alone when their friends don’t like minidolls, or they can use Friend minifigures when all kids want to play together.

The minifigures can be distributed via seasonal Collectible Minifigures blind bags, so that we can randomly choose to get them or not. Even for those who don’t play Friends set at all, they would also have a chance to own a new collection of different minifigures, since teenager girls are very rare in minifigure lines .
